Injectables Sydney

This innovative injectable treatment features NAHYCO technology to simulate skin cell receptors to maintain skin cells (fibroblasts, keratinocytes and adipocytes) to restore skin firmness, elasticity and hydration.

Thus, this product works to regenerate the skin on 3 levels. It can be used in various areas including face, neck, décolletage, hands, arms, knees and abdomen.

What is this product?

As this is a therapeutic prescription only, so the product name and active ingredient cannot be a mentioned in marketing material in Australia due to TGA regulations. It is made in Italy by IBSA www.ibsaderm.com with validated and published clinical studies showing its safety and efficacy.

How does NAHYCO skin bioremodelling work?

This is not a dermal filler treatment. It is a bio stimulatory treatment for dermal skin cells stimulating the production of collagen and elastin and also regeneration of the supportive skin fat cell layer.

The active agent uses unique NAHYCO technology to allow extensive spreadability, so just a few injection points are needed to cover the whole face or neck area. This multilayer, biostimulation leads to better hydrated, more elastic and firmer skin.

Bio-remodelling Treatment process

Small injections are made in targeted areas of face, neck, décolletage, hands, arms, knees or abdomen. The procedure is quick and typically takes about 15 minutes. For most this is a relatively painless treatment, most describing the feeling of small sting.

To achieve the optimal results from the treatment most will require 2 treatments a month apart. However, depending on age and lifestyle, a 3rd treatment may be recommended.

Any downtime?

No down time, patients can return to their daily activities following the treatment.

A temporary bump may be seen immediately after injection but that disappears relatively quickly after as the gel disperses within the skin. Occasionally a small skin bruise may occur at the injection point.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there any downtime?

Most people are able to go back to their normal activities immediately. Neuromodulator injections do not require any anesthesia, and there will generally be no downtime following the treatment. Following the procedure, avoid rubbing or massaging the treated section of your face. Otherwise, the medication may inadvertently migrate to other areas. Finally, as with any injection, there is always a chance for bruising to occur.

How long do results last?

Individual results vary, though in general, neuromodulator will normally last for 3-4 months. Over time, the muscle action will begin to return and wrinkles may start to appear again. When this happens, another round of injections can be performed.

Is bio-Remodelling painful?

Skin Bio-Remodelling injections are generally well tolerated, with most patients experiencing only mild discomfort. Pain relief is not typically required, but a topical anaesthetic can be applied if requested.

How do anti-wrinkle injections work?

Anti-wrinkle injections make use of neuromodulators, which are naturally occurring proteins that relax specific muscles when injected under the skin. When the proteins are injected into muscles that are causing excessive wrinkles, the result is a natural, more relaxed facial experience.

What are the results of bio-Remodelling?

Bio-remodelling is a cosmetic treatment that aims to rejuvenate the skin by stimulating collagen production and improving skin elasticity. The results of bio-remodelling may vary depending on the individual’s skin condition, age, and lifestyle factors. Generally, the following results can be expected from bio-remodelling:

  • Improved skin texture and firmness: Bio-remodelling stimulates collagen production, which helps to improve skin elasticity and firmness. This can lead to smoother, more youthful-looking skin.
  • Reduction in fine lines and wrinkles: Bio-remodelling can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, especially around the eyes, mouth, and forehead.
  • Increased hydration: Bio-remodelling can help improve the skin’s ability to retain moisture, which can lead to a more hydrated and plump appearance.
  • Improved skin tone and colour: Bio-remodelling can help improve skin tone and colour by promoting cell turnover and reducing the appearance of age spots and hyperpigmentation.

  • Long-lasting results: Bio-remodelling treatments can provide long-lasting results, with improvements in skin texture and appearance continuing for several months after treatment.

It is important to note that the results of bio-remodelling may not be immediate and may require multiple treatment sessions to achieve the desired results. Additionally, individual results may vary depending on the severity of the skin concerns being addressed.

What are anti-wrinkle injections used for?

Anti-wrinkle injections, also known as neuromodulators, can be used for a number of purposes. At Áda, we use neuromodulators to remove excessive expression lines and wrinkles like frown and smile lines; achieve facial slimming by reducing muscle mass at the side of the jaw; lift and reshape the eye brows; lift the neck; and smoothen the jaw line.

How long does bio-Remodelling take to work?

The time it takes for bio-remodelling to work varies, with some improvement seen within a few days to a week after treatment. The effects typically last for several months, but ongoing treatment sessions are usually required to maintain the results. It may take multiple treatment sessions to achieve the desired results. Individual factors such as age, skin condition, and lifestyle can affect the timing and duration of the effects.

Am I a good candidate for neuromodulator injections?

You should never use neuromodulator while you are pregnant or breastfeeding or if you are allergic to any of the ingredients in the injection. Australian law prohibits us from publishing the ingredients used online; however, these can be discussed during a consultation. Suitable candidates are typically in good general health prior to receiving the treatment.

Which areas of the body can be treated with anti-wrinkle injections?

Some of the most commonly treated areas of the body include the frown lines between the eyes, forehead, and the lines at the side of the eyes (known as ‘crow’s feet’). In some cases, lower face creases and sagging upper neck skin can be treated, while the product can also be used to reshape and lift the eye brows for a more youthful appearance. Anti-wrinkle injections can also be used to lift the corners of the mouth and to improve the appearance of a gummy smile.
